Cank Street Gallery - Open Exhibition

Open Art Exhibition

October 2014

On 26th July, Leicester's new Richard III Visitor Centre opened just a few steps from our doors.  Here at the Cank Street Gallery we want to celebrate by showing off Leicester's artists to visitors expected to come from all over the world.

We are already showing many new original works by local artists on our walls at the Cank Street Gallery, but, have decided to go a step further and invite Leicester's artists and makers to compete for an opportunity to show their work in the Cank Street Gallery's first Open Art Exhibition.

The exhibition is open to all ages and we hope to attract new, emerging and established artists.  All works will be for sale in the exhibition and a prize of £500 will be awarded to the overall winner.

The closing date for entries is Saturday, 27th September and the exhibition will run from 7th - 25th October.
